Management Committee met Sri J N Singh, President, Federation of Coal Industry Retired Employees Association, Nagpur in Hyderabad and discussed thoroughly about the Writ Petition pending in Delhi High Court from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Special General body meeting was held from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm at Singareni Collieries officers Co-op House Building Society office, Hyderabad where Sri.J,N.Singh shared his ideas on the pension issue under CMPS 1998 and the pending court case.
He assured the members that a positive direction from the court is expected to resolve the pension issue.
A meeting was conducted at RCOA club, Ramagundam in which around 150 retired employees, trade union representatives of TBGKS, HMS, BMS and CITU, Media and Press attended.
President, General Secretary and another four members of SROWA attended along with Sri JN SINGH. He had explained about the activities of Federation and details of court case pending in Hon.
High court Delhi. Sri P Vasudevarao, President, and Sri. J V Dattatreyulu Gen Secretary of SROWA had explained the representation made in different forums including Hon Ministers, MPs and MLAs of Telangana state and central Govt. Trade Union leaders explained about formation of sub committees on pension and post retirement medical benefits.
All the retired employees expressed their happiness for the efforts of Federation and JBCCI to resolve pensioners’ issue.
